Living History encampment, tourneys, demonstrations of armour and cannon. Archery demonstrations.
Monday 7th May in the Abbey 11 o'clock until 4 p.m.
Activities in the Quire each hour from noon until 3 include Waytes and Measures, Medieval Music, Knighting ceremonies, Dressing a Knight,
On display, the huntsman, archer, cannon, armour and life in Medieval times. Historic copes, Sacristy open with view of the horse armour and the indenture.
Weather permitting hopefully there will be Tower tours of the Abbey
Price £5 for one day £7.50 for two days, accompanied children under 16 free
On the Sunday we hope to be planting a yew tree on Windmill Hill in memory of Robert Hardy, patron of Tewkesbury Medieval Festival and also the Tewkesbury Battlefield Society. (details to follow)
